We always tailor the collars to the given dog and it is our wish that the collar fits perfectly. That's why we need to know the circumference of your dog's neck. Measure the circumference with a tape measure where your dog normally wears the collar. Take into account whether your dog wears the collar tightly or more loosely, it is not necessary to add centimeters to the specified circumference, we will tailor the collar exactly to size. Please enter the neck circumference as a number, not as text. Write for example - 30 cm. You can also measure the existing collar.
The collar is not unbuttoned, it is put on over the head, so we need to know the circumference of the head.
Measure the circumference of the head so that it is comfortable for the dog to change the collar. Measure your head at the widest point, preferably with a tape measure and try to test this circumference by going back and forth. We need exactly this measure.
If your dog is a puppy or his neck circumference changes a lot due to summer and winter fur, or if he is getting fat and thin, indicate the reserve you wish to add. We normally recommend choosing a reserve of around 10% of the measured length of the neck circumference. For example, you have measured the circumference of your neck at 30 cm, you know that you loosen the collar in the winter and tighten it in the summer, so your reserve will be, for example, 3 cm. The collar will be made for a neck circumference of 33 cm, with the fact that it can be tightened to 30 cm.
Your dog's breed is a piece of information that will allow us to check the dimensions you have entered into the system and we can also use heavier components, make more padding, etc. If you have a crossbreed, please try to estimate the breeds of the mother and father and ideally please add the weight of the dog.
Collars and harnesses for even the heaviest and strongest dogs are not a problem for us. Dog collars and harnesses for Great Danes, Bullmastiffs, Bernese Mountain Dogs or others weighing more than half a meter are our daily bread.
